Move To Japan So You Can Eat Strawberry Cheetos
February 7, 2008
As much as I like strawberries, I think I’ll pass on this one. As The FoodChannel.com called it a “salty sweet thing” I think it may be taking the Yen and Yang thing too far.
My First 1/2 Marathon, and being sick
November 25, 2007
I ran my first half marathon on Nov. 4th here in Springfield. The Bass Pro Fitness Festival, Maynard Cohick Half-Marathon. I was sick w/ fever and a cough the four day leading up to the race, and the four weeks after the race. (Probably due to running a race w/ a cold, but oh well.)

I’m not a fast guy, but I set a new PR (personal record) for a 10k today. Felt good the whole race and was able to crank on the finish. I was proud of my wife who also set a pr, and for some friends who pushed me through the race. I don’t think I would have had anything under 50 minutes without them.

Your Disease Risk
August 22, 2007
12 types of Cancer, Diabetes, Heart disease, Osteoporosis, and Stroke. Those are the kinds of diseases you can profile yourself on to rate your risk of developing any of these. My heart disease was ‘very much below average’, but my prostate was shockingly ‘above average’. In both cases it said I should eat more fresh fish. Didn’t I read a couple months ago we are fishing the oceans too much?
